What should I expect during my first appointment?

One of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit. We will then examine your teeth, gums and bite, screen you for oral cancer, take necessary x-rays of your teeth and complete a TMJ (temporomandibular or jaw joint) exam. After we review your dental profile, we will discuss a diagnosis, your treatment options and our fees and financing options to help you determine the best plan to fit your needs.

How often should I visit the dentist?

The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend visiting a dentist at least twice a year for checkups and professional cleanings. The health of every patient’s teeth, gums and bite is different, therefore, some patients should visit the dentist more often.

What if I have an emergency?

Please call our office as soon as you determine you have a dental emergency. We will be glad to work you into our schedule if you have a dental emergency during regular business hours. After hours, over the weekend and during holidays, please call our office for the doctor’s emergency contact number.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept any insurance plan that allows you to choose your own dentist. We will be happy to verify and file your insurance claims as a courtesy to you. Any portion that insurance does not cover is the patient’s responsibility. We do have many financing options available if needed.

What forms of payment do you accept?
